Dirt Hound™ Limited Warranty
What is Covered
Dirt Hound wet/dry vacuums are warranted to be free of defects in
workmanship and material.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty lasts for five years from the date of purchase.
How to Obtain Service
To obtain the benefit of this warranty, please call Customer Service at
1-888-240-0148. We will provide you specific details on our return
policy. If the retailer's normal return policy has expired, the product
must be shipped back to Emerson Tool Company via prepaid shipping for
our inspection to determine if it is covered by warranty.
What we will do to correct
problems
If the product is covered by our warranty, we will either repair the
unit or provide a new unit at no charge. If after three attempts to
repair or replace during the warranty period the product is still
defective, you can elect to receive a full refund of your purchase
price. If we determine from our inspection that the product is not
covered by this warranty, you may elect to have the product returned to
you at your expense.
What is Not Covered
Failures due to misuse, abuse or normal wear and tear are not covered
by this warranty. EMERSON TOOL COMPANY SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
How local laws relate to the
warranty
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state, province to province,
or country to country.
No other express warranty
applies
This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Dirt Hound
products. No employee, agent, dealer, or other person is authorized to
alter this warranty or make any other warranty on behalf of Emerson
Tool Company.
